The Boyer Electroacoustic Ensemble Project (BEEP) and the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts at Temple University will present an afternoon of innovative music, dance, and music technology in the lobby of the Temple Performing Arts Center (TPAC). This event will feature a concert performance by BEEP of some of the most creative Philadelphia composers working with emerging digital technology for music performance and production. There will be a fun hands-on demonstration of analog modular synthesizers. Participants can learn more about physical computing— including the opportunity to collaboratively play video games on a giant multi-screen array using sensor-embedded glove controllers designed by Temple students. Please join us for and an afternoon of fun with emerging art and music technology! All ages are welcome! (from the PTW website)
